The office is not manned at weekends

If you are travelling by road from the north and midlands of England or from Scotland: take the M6 south, then the M5 south and then take the M50 signed for South Wales. At Ross on Wye the M 50 ends, join the A 40 and then near Raglan continue on the A 449 towards South Wales, Cardiff M4. Join the M4 near Newport and go westbound towards Cardiff and Swansea, continue along the M4 as far as junction 40 Port Talbot turn.

 

Leave the M4 at J40 and follow the A4107 north up the Afan Valley. After about 7 miles you will find the Afan Forest Park Visitor Centre which is also signed for the South Wales Miners Museum. We can meet you here with Mountain Bikes. (Family Bikes must be collected from Unit 3 Glyncorrwg)

To find US at Unit 3 Glyncorrwg Community Workshops nextdoor to the Glyncorrwg Ponds visitor centre, continue up the valley into the village of Cymmer.

 

Drive carefully through the village and follow the signs for Glyncorrwg turning sharp left down a steep hill just before a Petrol Station over on the left. Directions are clearly posted on Tourism Brown Signs. Enter Wales take the M4 over the Severn Bridge ( Toll £5.30 ). Follow the M4 Westbound to junction 40. Then follow directions as above.

Rail and Coach alternatives

We can meet you at the Railway Station and Coach Station in Port Talbot with your rental bikes. If you choose to travel by Train or Coach.

Riding routes outside the park

We deliver bikes anywhere within the south and west Wales area onto routes that are mentioned on the web-site. But we can-not do it for free. So talk to us and we will do the best deal that we can on delivery.
